Welp, my boyfriend moved away on friday for an internship, im gonna go ahead and blame my lack of posts on my sadness over this. I did a few doodles in a sketchbook but he also took the scanner with him so you'll have to take my word on it.

And I was about to go to sleep without having done a decent sketch, when i decided it'd be fun to doodle myself. At first off the top of my head, but then with the photobooth camera on the mac when I realized it'd be silly not to utilize it at least a little.

I liked it better when I had myself drawn cuter and more disney princess-ish >_>

Kind of embarrassing to post, but everyone should do one of these at some point, me especially, what with my crummy people drawing skills.



I just watched Lilo and Stitch, nice little movie refresher before bed C: And i love those giant hips on the Hawaiian chicks!

Aardvark!

I was having a hard time thinking of what to draw today, until a random scribble ended up looking a little aardvarky!

And you know, now that I think about it, maybe i'll just try and do an animal alphabet thing for the next 25 days. That way I'd at least have a direction in which type of animal to draw. Although I need to draw people as well, maybe i'll try doing a profession per alphabet letter too! Either way, could be a fun little side project.

Also.. I always thought it was really creepy after i found out Arthur was supposed to be an aardvark.

I've been having a really bad day today, but it's slowly getting better.

I had a dream last night where i owned three ibizan hounds, which was cool, and then I found out the big pet adoption day thing at the zoo was yesterday and i missed it, which was not cool :(

So i drew an Ibizan, then put a corgi on his back C:




And then I actually drew this up yesterday really quick, a cute comic thing on how colonel got his name, hopefully i'll be able to color it in a cool, artsy style one day soon, posting here just to get it online in case of file misplacement
or something.

WHew! School is finally over for the summer, I had been so wrapped up in finals and getting more work done on Gatordog that i kind of ended up abandoning this blog (although i still technically sketched every day) but now i've got free time up the wazoo so the art can start flowing again.
I did a ton of sketches today, but i'll just stick to posting my favorite C:
