Slowly

Trying to get out of an art block! I have to round up the rest of the sketches I've been since the last post, but here are some quick environment sketches I did today in an effort to get my head back in the layout game before I start tackling final backgrounds for Gatordog.

Tried to pick through recent files for sketches, not much, all kind of crazy JoinMe stuff.

Ehh, yesterdays and todays sketch Been trying to think of something cute to actually design, like beyond one drawing. Chimney sweep kids might just be the thing! And Subcat, of course.

Arg!

I'm still here! Sort of... Been going through some computer switching issues (A LOOOT of computer switching) between my last post and now. I'm slowly trying to compile some of the stuff i've done since then, and i'd like to get back into making daily or bi-daily? updates while I slave away at leveling Diablo characters and attempting to find a job and finish Gatordog. Have some art!

space lazers

Revisited Hippo/rat/bat thing the other day, going to a couple more times, he's officially a gargoyle, which is AWESOME, because i've always wanted a gargoyle character and it'll be fun to design bunch of them. Still trying to finish up the illustrations for the childrens book i'm working on. I can't wait til I'm done. It's cool to get work published, but boy did I learn my lesson about undercharging too much for professional work. :( Derp.

Hippies

Hippies were some quick character concepts for a contest being held on DA. I should have warmed up a little first, which sort of makes them the warm up for the day, which was strangely unproductive without the TV working. I've become addicted! Sad polar bear If i have a spirit animal, it's probably an albino polar bear. Hah!

Bookworm and co

Some recent stuff, asides from the last three sketches that I cant believe I forgot to post! I love the bookworm one. I've done so much doodling lately I feel like Im forgetting a ton of stuff D: I had a rough last couple weeks of getting my portfolio ready that I actually hadn't done too much.. but i'm slowly unloading the rest of the stuff I need to do and getting re-pumped to get to doodling!( and animating!)

I've been working non stop on my portfolio and book illustrations and busy with life and blah! Lots of doodling, no time for much else (besides the portfolio stuff). So much to do, still.
