I feel like just doing this sketch a day blog is already helping me improve a lot, just by practicing!

Im really happy with this one :)

I was talking to someone on FA about adding folds to skin, its something i'd do occasionally when it seems necessary, but i realize its something you can always add and push farther than you think.
and although i wanted to do something more.. foldy, im happily surprised with how much life it added to this picture.

D: I keep picturing two really old friends saying goodbye for the last time after a lifetime of awesome fun aussie adventure ;o; its so sad!

I went to the zoo today and did a lot of thumbnail sketches of the animals, it was nice, if not very chilly..

these arent them though, just some sketches i did when i got home. (and one from yesterday)

I was excited to find out they had Takins at the Detroit zoo, didnt really see much of them though. think they're cool !

Second attempt at a blog like this. I always feel like having somewhere to post it will give me more of a purpose to sketch more. (dont get me wrong, i sketch all day long!) but hopefully it'll make me put a little more (or less) thought into doing so.
